Positive Paths CYP

Spring 2026 Newsletter
We’re excited to let you know of some recent changes to our management team. You may have already spoken to her, Niamh has recently transitioned into her role as Team Manager. She has worked as a Senior Practitioner for the last couple of years, and alongside Carmen, will be your main point of contact for anything regarding your support.
Audrei is also returning from maternity leave and will be conducting reviews over the next couple of months for anyone who is interested.
We’re also delighted to share that we have acquired a wheelchair accessable 9 seater vehicle! We hope this is beneficial to a lot of families and will allow for more opportunities to explore the wider community.

Just a little reminder that Positive Paths CYP can offer a post school service, and can now include those up to the age of 30. Our support is based on 1:1 or 2:1 with the focus being on creating peer groups and socialising, engaging in the community and on building life skills. If anyone would like to discuss this further we would be more than happy to. For this summer, places are very limitted but we will have availability in the coming months and years for those looking at post-school destinations.
For those that haven’t completed it yet, we would greatly appreciate you taking a couple of minutes to fill in our questionnaire. This is to look at any recent changes needed to care plans and to assess how well support is working for you, you can also request a review through this.
We were also recently sent surveys by the Care Inspectorate ahead of their upcoming inspection, again any feedback is much appreicated. If you require a paper copy, we would be more than happy to provide one.
If your child is unwell, please do not send them to Positive Paths. We have had a recent bout of sickness spreading across the service and in order to minimise this, we ask for you to keep your child at home for 48 hours following any sickness. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
