Schools out for summer!
Holiday times are some of our members and staff best time on support. When the schools are on holiday, we arrange two day trips a week (usually Tuesdays and Thursday) where we do longer support and venture further out of Edinburgh. This is a great time for all the members and staff to see each other and catch-up and form some great new memories. Some of regular trips include a drive up to Perth to go swimming down the slides, a nice walk around East Links Country Park in Dunb

What's down in the Base?
Our base is currently located in Leith Walk, where we have access to a kitchen, a sensory corner, gaming station and lots and lots of toys. The base is a great safe space for our members, where they have full access and greatly benefit from interacting with other members and staff. As well as this, our managers and senior team are regularly spotted in the small office doing admin work, however secretly enjoy sneaking away to chill out with the members and have a good catch-up

The history of the Children & Young Adult' Service
Original combined as one service, Positive Paths, overtime naturally divided into a children and adult' service. Service manager, Lauren Clapton, shaped the children service into a 1:1 or 2:1 short-time respite service for children with additional needs.
